Group Description :
This group was set up to allow members to taste and (hopefully) enjoy a range of wines from around the world, in a fun and informative way. We take it in turns to run the sessions, where we will taste 5 or 6 different wines, on a theme chosen by the host, with water and nibbles provided.
The ultimate aim is to find wines that suit our individual tastes, so we know what to look for when buying wine for ourselves! Members contribute £10 per meeting to cover the cost of the wines. If we build up a surplus we can have a freebie!
If it becomes no longer feasible to meet as a large group in a member's home then the group may have to move to a hired venue which would increase the cost of the meetings. A second wine group may be created - it depends on demand.
