Group Description :
Barnsdale Gardens & Afternoon Tea

Barnsdale Gardens is a collection of themed gardens created by the late BBC Gardeners' World presenter Geoff Hamilton. The gardens are now managed by Geoff's son along with a team of gardeners.

Barnsdale is an inspiring place to visit, with Britain's largest collection of individually designed gardens (38 in total) within its 8 acre site, there is plenty to see and many new ideas for you to take away for your own garden.

Within the gardens there are plenty of places for you to sit and rest and enjoy the gardens.

There is a plant nursery on site for you to find and purchase that perfect plant for your own garden.

Barnsdale is a great day out, whether you are a keen gardener or someone who just likes to have a look around beautiful places.

There is a cafe on site where you can purchase drinks and snacks when we arrive.  (Please note you can not take your own refreshments into the gardens.)

We will meet at the cafe at 2:00pm for our Afternoon Tea.

The cost for this trip is £55.00 and includes entrance to Barnsdale Gardens, afternoon tea & coach. We will leave Holmes Chapel at 8:30am.  We expect to be back in Holmes Chapel for approx. 6:30pm.
