Group Description :
The leaders of the Foraging and Country Wine Making Groups, are organising another joint meeting at Dane Meadow benches. The best date seems to be Tuesday 5 August meeting at 2.00pm.
This will be a repeat of the successful joint meetings which we held the last three
years. The intention is that both groups bring examples of their products to share
among those present so that each can see (and taste) what the other group makes.
If you are a member of either group and you don’t have any produce to hand, don’t
worry. You will be welcome to come and sample what can be produced and this
could inspire you to try your hand later.
We shall meet at the tables at Dane Meadow at 2.00pm on the 5th unless the weather is bad in
which case we shall contact members with a Plan B which will likely be the following
week, ie 12th August.
As well as any respective products, attendees should bring a knife, fork, spoon and
plate and a glass. A bottle of water is also recommended. As country wine will be consumed, driving is not advisable.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as can make it.
