You may find it strange that a Christmas lunch is being planned for January but following serious discussions in the Vault, which many of you may have forgotten, we decided that it would be far less crowded after Christmas. Last year we were fortunate to have booked on a relatively quiet day in December.
We shall leave the precinct at
12.15pm. A minibus has been arranged which can accommodate 8 passengers; cost £7.00 last year and possibly slightly more this year. This is to be paid in advance. The first 8 to apply and who wish to use the minibus will be given preference. If you want to book your place please contact me at

5.00pm.
Others will travel by car (we will need volunteer drivers). I will contact applicants to see how we can organise this. The more "adventurous" will be cycling.
I will get a restricted menu from the Bull's Head and issue this to attendees. This is always good and the restricted menu keeps the cost down.
