Walk Description:
Starting from Lawton Heath, near Alsager, this is an easy walk of just over 5 miles along the Salt Line path to Hassall Green, returning via the Trent and Mersey Canal. This is usually dry underfoot, but please dress for the weather.
There will be the usual stop for any drinks and snacks that you have brought en route.
Lunch will be at The Horseshoe Inn at Lawton Heath. Please let me know if you intend to stay.
