Group Details For Guitar Group - Beginners (24/25 Season)
Group Description :
Our Aims: To provide an opportunity for beginners to learn & practice within a small and supportive group environment, sharing the enjoyment of guitar playing (and singing) - after all " Music is the food of love!".
We will help Beginners with both practical support and advice to quickly help to build their confidence and skills - members will do this by learning to play a selection of well known songs and not just by practicing scales!
In addition to an acoustic guitar (preferably steel strung) we recommend that you should also have a music stand, a clip-on guitar tuner and a guitar stand - we will provide all the song sheets and chord information.
Start by learning a few simple chords and with practice you will soon be able to play a range of songs and as you improve we will introduce you to more chords - ultimately Intermediate Group membership awaits you!
